The Studio

Clear Creek Recording is dedicated to the highest quality in acoustic music recording, editing and mixdown. The acoustics of the large tracking room and spacious control room have been professionally designed and tested for the optimum in smooth frequency response and even decay.

Tracking Room

The 30 by 40-foot tracking room's acoustics are variable, to provide the appropriate characteristics for ensembles of different sizes. An acoustically tuned isolation room is available for cutting vocals or critical instruments while other instruments are tracked simultaneously in the larger room. If desired, custom built go-betweens ("gobos") and high quality headphone monitoring can provide isolation and good separation while tracking an ensemble playing together in the tracking room.  

Control Room

The 17 by 23-foot control room has splayed walls and ceiling, designed to provide excellent isolation from the tracking room and tuned for a smooth response down to even the very lowest audible frequencies.

Amenities

Amenities include a full bath, break room/kitchen, office and several guest beds.
